Rebuilding Together will take place this year on Saturday May 3rd. Volunteers can begin to sign in that morning at around 7:30 AM. April's club social will be held on Friday, April 18th. We will be meeting at the Landmark, on the square in Polk CIty(217 Broadway St.), at 6:30 PM.

Livingston Saturday Night is Back for 2008! - Sept 20th 2008

We are excited to announce that the Des Moines Parrothead Club will be having its yearly phlocking, Livingston Saturday Night, this September! Our last Livingston Saturday Night was a great success and we were able to raise quite a bit of money for the Alzheimer's Association. We are hoping to do even better this year! All of the major planning has been completed and we have the date, venue and band all locked in. We are also excited to bring you the band "Too Drunk to Fish" as this years live band. New Board Members!!!

We are pleased to announce the new board members for 2008-09!

Congratulations to the new board members of the DSM PHC! We would also like to thank Bill Gorius and Cindy Konrad for their service to the club!

At the present time, we also have a few board positions available. We are looking for additional members who are interested in making a difference and becoming more active in the club. Currently we are looking for a Charity Coordinator as well as an additional Member at Large. Ankeny Tree Lighting Festival!!!!

Thanks to all who helped out with the Ankeny Tree Lighting Festival! The tree looked great again this year, and we were able help make this Christmas brighter for a Des Moines area family! Rebuilding Together 2007!!!

Thanks to everyone for another successful Rebuilding Together Day! We had 62 of the most fabulous volunteers in the Des Moines area. Fortunately the rain and bad weather held off long enough for us to complete our tasks in what turned out to be a dry and comfortable day. Pictures of the event will be posted soon!
