Growing Older But Not Up 2026!
That's right! Time to party with a purpose again Parrothead friends and family! The Des Moines Parrothead Club presents "Growing Older But Not Up 2026"! Phlocking to support the Alzheimer's Association.
Come join us at the Sherwood Forest Event Center January 31, 2026 for a night of phun, food, and music all to benefit the Alzheimer's Association! Food will be catered and live music will be performed by Too Drunk To Fish. Doors open at 6:00 pm. There will be a silent auction throughout the night and a live auction starting at 10:00 pm. Channel your inner Jimmy Buffett and come out for a fun night and a great cause!
The real reason for this evening is to support the Alzheimer's Association in their efforts to find a cure. The percentage of people with Alzheimer's dementia increases with age: 5.0% of people age 65 to 74, 13.1% of people age 75 to 84, and 33.2% of people age 85 and older have Alzheimer's dementia. Help us fight this statistic! Over the last 3 phlockings this event has raised $18,500! Help us push that number to over $25,000!!!!
